Working closely with OEMs, Auer led the SEMI standardization efforts and has submitted over 20,000 designs to the industry throughout its history. The "Auer Boat" is considered the genuine standard across the semiconductor, defense, opto-electronic, industrial, automotive, life sciences, and medical markets.

Formed or flat carriers, at 3.1", 4.3" and 5.4" width, are considered 'standard' product designs. Optional support for magnetic fixtures, multi-layer assemblies, spring loaded package fixtures and hinged features can also be designed into the carrier. Material options include 304 SS, Alloy 42, Al and Titanium. Today, Auer is capable of going from concept to delivery in 2-4 weeks.
