Applications Lab:

Auer offers an Applications Lab for producers of capillary medical strips and utilizes an on-site Class 100 clean room for the assembly and packaging of medical sub-assemblies and/or devices.

For producers of capillary medical strips, Auer offers reduced scale proof-of-concept services with timely turnaround of tooling and data. While most competitors approximate the finished part with laser prepared samples, Auer's approach provides near-production level quality to aid testing and early clinical trials.

Auer utilizes its internally developed Master DieT concept with insert tooling for prototyping purposes. This substantially reduces time to initial part and allows for the testing of sensor arrays, which are used to closely approximate the finished part. Auer has extensive experience with many materials including: Melinex, Mylar, Polyester, Lexan, and multi-layer substrates with adhesives (pressure sensitive or thermal).

In addition, Auer can provide characterization services for determining material property compensation during processing, utilizing ballistic or conventional stamping, and web handling with or without tension control. We will also provide empirical data for your tolerance stack-up analyses via detailed dimensional capability reports.
